Finishing November

We're at the beginning of another year and it seems my blogging has slowed considerably.  However, I am still committed to getting down on "paper" the events of our family.  I have over a month of events to cover, I'm going to do them in several posts, as that seems to be easiest.  So, here we go!
Grandpa Jim gets married
Jason’s maternal grandfather, our children’s great grandfather, got married on 11-11-2011.  We had a good time at the small wedding but I think the younger kids had the best time dancing during the reception!

The Concrete Pour

Jason’s dream garage is one step closer to being complete.  We had the actual structure built and gravel poured in 2005 but had to save up the money to pour concrete for the long driveway and “barn” floor.  We finally had enough to get the cement poured though!  After several different quotes and the realization that concrete is two times more expensive than it was 2+ years ago (when we last got quotes) we decided to go ahead and get it done.  Here’s a look at the pour in pictures….
